FOR 501(C)(3) NONPROFITS

Google Ad Grants. Staff-led content.

Both run by the same team. Both built for nonprofit realities.

$10,000 a month in free Google Ads you're probably not using, and 50 years of staff expertise that hasn't made it to your social feed. We fix both.

THE GOOGLE AD GRANT

$10,000 in free ads. Most nonprofits never claim it.

The Google Ad Grant gives qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofits up to $10,000 per month in free Google Ads credit. It has existed since 2003. Most nonprofit directors have heard of it. Almost none are using it — either because the approval process stalls, or because they get approved and lose it within 90 days for missing Google's 5% CTR requirement, keyword quality rules, or conversion tracking minimums.

That's the entire problem, and it's a solvable one.

APPROVAL 45–60 days

Most organizations stall in the application. We run the paperwork, the policy verification, and the initial account setup.

COMPLIANCE 5% CTR

Google will pause a grant account that falls below 5% click-through rate for two consecutive months. We build campaigns that hold the line.

VALUE $120K/year

Full grant value if you use the whole monthly allowance. Most nonprofits capture 20–40% of that. We aim for 80%+.

Grant Management fees are priced below our commercial Ads tier because nonprofits operate on different economics — and because we believe mission-driven work should be accessible. Same service quality, different pricing structure.

CONTENT DAYS

Your staff are the story. We help them tell it.

Most nonprofit social media is press releases, event photos, and donor thank-yous. What actually moves people is the voices of the staff doing the work — the clinician, the case manager, the program director, the teacher. The people whose expertise built the mission in the first place. Content Days turn that expertise into scheduled social content without asking your staff to become videographers.

Content Days for nonprofits follow the same pricing as commercial Content Days — Local Membership if you're within 60 miles of Traverse City, Production pricing if you're elsewhere. Most nonprofit clients book a Production (like Laraway did) and then move to Quarterly Membership after the initial shoot.

NONPROFIT QUESTIONS

Questions we hear from nonprofit directors.

We've never applied for the Google Ad Grant. Can you start from scratch?

Yes. About half our nonprofit clients come to us pre-approved and half come to us wanting to apply. The application takes 45–60 days in most cases. The approval rate with our process is close to 100% for qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations — most denials we've seen elsewhere trace back to policy verification issues or website compliance problems, both of which we handle before submitting.

Our grant was suspended. Can you reactivate it?

Usually yes. Grant suspensions come from either policy violations (which require a documentation update and appeal) or performance violations — the 5% CTR rule or conversion tracking lapses (which require an account rebuild). We handle both. Timeline to reactivation varies from 2 weeks to 90 days depending on the cause.

Can we run paid Google Ads on top of the grant?

Yes, and we recommend it if your organization has paid ad budget. The grant is capped at $10K/month and comes with specific restrictions (text-only ads, certain keyword limits). Paid Google Ads overlay those restrictions and unlock image ads, shopping ads, YouTube ads, and unlimited spend. The Grant Maximizer tier includes this.

What's the minimum commitment for Grant Management?

Three months. We need that long to either complete the application or stabilize an existing account and show you the first compliance cycle.

Can small nonprofits afford you?

Our entry Grant Foundation tier is $1,200/month. For most nonprofits the math works out: the grant delivers up to $10,000/month in ad value, which typically translates to 200–600 website visits, 20–80 form fills, or 5–20 donations per month depending on your cause area. Even at partial grant utilization, the ROI math is favorable.

Do you work with nonprofits outside of Vermont and Michigan?

Yes. Grant Management is remote — we can run grant accounts for any qualifying 501(c)(3) in the US. Content Days follow the same geography rule as commercial clients: Local Membership within 60 miles of Traverse City, Production pricing anywhere else.

How do Content Days work for nonprofits specifically?

The Laraway shoot is the model. We came in for two days, worked with 30 staff members, wrote scripts grounded in their clinical work, and shot 70 pieces of content. Your version might look different — the format flexes from single-day solo operator visits to multi-day crewed productions. See our Content Days page for full pricing.
